CATTLE DECAPITATION

Release Year: 2022
Artist Origin: USA
Style: intricate technical grinding death metal

while drawing parallels to Cryptopsy and Dying Fetus, the fifth longplay [2006] by ever-progressing, ambitious entity introduces more deliberate, calculated songwriting with refined technicality and subtle layers along their trademark visceral, fundamental death/grind, blending brutal aggression with intricate performance, featuring diverse vocal techniques, and a balance between unsettling, grim atmosphere and lunatic intensity, while experimenting with song structures, where unpredictable rhythm section offers more complex time signatures and dynamic tempo shifts, remaining absolutely focused in their own explosive bubble, establishing a clearer sense of evolution in such an extreme subgenre, thematically delving into the consequences of humanity's greed and disregard for nature; recent German gatefold sleeve silver vinyl edition with a specially remastered sound and giant poster is limited to 300 machine-numbered units, copy #273
