Øystein Garnes Brun has made a wise decision not to rush with this full-length opus [2016] - gathering back the most creative line-up ever, he has picked up exceptionally vibrant tunes for recording, polishing them in the most effective of ways beforehand, conducting all tiny details with plethora of vocal involvements to make it work as in golden Borknagar times; addition of Garm on guest vocals was a culminating highlight, blowing up the title track to immense proportions, so that the rest of material sounds just okay in comparison, but eventually it becomes evident that this album is far above few previous releases, keeping up the progressive pagan metal banner high, sparking a new wave of interest in indigenous, traditional music either; recent German gatefold sleeve double clear vinyl edition with pro-printed lyric inner sleeves and extra Dominant Winds song as bonus is limited to 1000 units
