AOSOTH

Release Year: 2017
Artist Origin: FRA
Style: raging intense satanic black metal

the closing chapter of Aosoth's musical and lyrical concept that took Bst and MkM three years to finish is a ferocious whirlwind with thick and downright suffocating atmosphere - it picks up where previous two longplays have left off in terms of relentless intensity and chaotic madness, yet six sickening cuts also show quite a few differences, sinking down the last drops of hope in dissonant infernal nihilistic void; regardless of a slight lack of memorability, all-devouring black monotony eventually takes over, sending to oblivion with its enigmatic mystery, where harsh guitar textures, hypnotic repetition, and bleak vocal assaults underscore the ultimate spiritual downfall and irreversible existential void, while sheer sonic brutality seal the album's uncompromising descent into darkness; first press digipak edition
