there is no logical reason to expect anything unusual or unheard of from Tankard, yet on this deranged 1998's album, whose subtitle proclaims From Frankfurt to Frisco We Destroy Every Disco!, they decided to stray away from customary alcoholic topics and examine far more down-to-earth matters, such as the destruction of disco clubs for example - it is most likely just another dumb joke, but it works just as effectively as the pounding, reckless, lunatic dance driven music, which remains just as cheerfully aggressive, traditionally intense and dynamic, plus instantly invigorating, especially close to the heart of anonymous drunkard or filthy headbanger, while the band, doing all this at a time when thrash had completely fallen out of the spotlight, deserves champion’s medal for such a sacrifice; recent German edition comes with a remastered sound and completely new design
