six years in works, album number two [2001] presents newly recruited singer Hanne Hukkelberg for the frontwoman position, and regardless that this stint was short-lived, it made Norwegian crew sound real special in dark doom metal genre, at the same time drifting from the typical standards, where growling was considered a compulsory element of such ferocious music; the haunting instrumental puzzle consists of ominously slow, gritty and abrasive guitars, occasional creeping keyboard touches, and accurate drumming, while Hanne feels very comfortable in trying diverse techniques and pushing the eclectic angles upfront, maintaining catchy and memorable direction nonetheless; recent French digipak edition comes with extensive liner notes in the booklet and extra bonus song from 1999's demo
