Prisoner of The Daydream is quite an apt title for the challenging third longplay of Iceland's own six-piece, where they keep purifying the melancholic spirit of highly atmospheric yet decently intense and from the depths ferocious music with convincing delivery and some extra layers of diverse moods borrowed from emotive post metal - it is quite natural to mention Sólstafir in this context as their drifting from extremity is pretty much of a similar kind, but in no way Auðn would blindly follow their big brothers, gaining yet more respect and much deserved attention with each consequent release; French digipak edition is limited to the first press
