Ledo Takas signs URSKUMUG!

It was early 2002 we have signed Loits, and since the politics of our label is not quantity but quality, there was no new band signed to Ledo Takas ever since. Finally, the time has come for a new blood in the ranks. Ladies and Gentlemen, let us introduce you Latvian tribal black metal hellhounds - URSKUMUG!
This unique crew has got into our picture last year after self-releasing debut album "Pareja". Few impressive gigs, including an amazing performance on Prieblanda festival in Vilnius [September 2004] have followed, and there was no doubt - a new jewel of Baltic Metal scene was there! URSKUMUG play fast ripping tribal black metal with ominous atmospheres, dealing with pre-pagan concepts, thematically going much deeper into time than any other pagan metal band you have ever thought about.
Second, yet untitled, full-length album will consist of seven or eight new songs [up to one hour long material] and will be recorded in soon to be considered legendary Phoenix Studio in Riga, supervised by Gints Lundbergs. The studio is booked for November and December 2005 - perhaps the most perfect season to embalm shamanic concepts the new album will deal with. Ledo Takas has scheduled the release date to early 2006.
"We are proud to be signed to the best and the most famous underground black metal label in Baltic States! We hope that our partnership will bring us all kinds of success in the future!" - URSKUMUG commented on the deal.
Demo version of a new song "Talking as the Shaman's Son" - for your attention.
